Open Water Diver  Course

Open Water Certification is available to ages 10-14 for Junior Diver and 15 and up for Open Water Diver. When taking our Open Water class, we have everything you need to become certified.  This is a three-step method.  The first step is E-Learning Home study, once you have completed the on-line class your are on your way. The next two steps will take place over multiple weekends. Step two is your Confined Water class. This consists of Swimming, Snorkeling and Diving Skills. We provide BCD, Regulators , Wet suit, tanks and weights. This will take place in a pool at either Devils Den or Blue Grotto.  The Third step is your Open-Water certification  which will include 4 dives at one of our local springs located here in Florida for your final Dive certification.

You will need your own mask, snorkel, fins and Boots for this course. These items can be purchased at Ocala Dive Scuba Shop.

As part of this course, You will also take the Nitrox course. This is a non diving course for an extra $50. E-learning is required, So at the end of your training you will have 2 certifications. For those wanting to Advance Adventure, The nitrox course will count toward your required courses.
