Advance Adventurer Diver

If you’ve taken your Open Water Scuba Diver course and are now ready to expand your knowledge, but would like to see what is out there first, then the Advanced course is for you! The Advanced course will give you an overview of five different specialties. two of the specialties are the Deep Diver and Navigation Diver specialties which are the foundation of continuing diver education. Three other specialties will BE needed to complete the course. Your Instructor can assist in helping you pick these out. Highly recommended is the Advanced buoyancy Course which will count toward your full advanced rating!

Prerequisites:

• Open Water Scuba Diver Certification

• Minimum Age: 18 , 10 with parental consent

         Ages 10-14 max depth for the Deep Dive is 70ft

Required Equipment:

• Mask, Snorkel, Fins, boots

• Exposure suit 

• BC w/low pressure inflator system

• Serviced single hose regulator with alternate air source device (octopus)

• Pressure gauge and computer

• Compass for navigation

• Two tanks

• Weight System

• Primary and secondary lights 

• Dive Knife or cutting tool

• Surface whistle

• Safety Tube (SMB -Safety Marker Buoy)
